Privacy Policy

1. The short version

The barcodes and QR codes you create are generated by JavaScript running inside your own browser. The product numbers, URLs, WiFi passwords and contact details you type are never transmitted to us and are never stored anywhere.

2. What we do collect

To understand how many people use the site we record an anonymous page view containing: the date and hour of the visit, the language version you viewed, the page path, the type of device (mobile / tablet / desktop) and the referring website. Your IP address is used only to recognise repeat visits within a single day and is stored as a one-way hash — the original address is not kept.

3. What we do not collect

• The content of any barcode or QR code you generate.
• Your name, e-mail address or phone number, unless you deliberately submit them through the advertising enquiry form.
• Tracking cookies or advertising identifiers.

4. Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking cookies. The site uses your browser's sessionStorage to remember two things for the duration of your visit: that the page view has already been counted, and whether you closed the sticky advertising bar. This data stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab. If you log in to the administration panel, a single strictly-necessary session cookie is set.

5. Advertising

Advertising slots on this site are sold directly and served as static images from our own server. They do not profile you, do not set cookies and do not follow you to other sites. If we ever introduce a third-party ad network, this policy will be updated before it goes live.

6. The advertising enquiry form

If you send an enquiry we receive the name, e-mail address, phone number and message you supply, plus the ad slot you selected. This is used solely to reply to you, is e-mailed to our own address and is kept until the enquiry is resolved. Ask us at any time to delete it.

7. Data retention

Aggregated daily visit counts are kept for up to three years. Hashed visitor identifiers are deleted after 120 days. Advertising enquiries are deleted on request.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Turkish KVKK you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Because we hold almost none, most requests are resolved immediately.

9. Children

This site is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13.

10. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
